Everything was smooth from start to finish. Communication on the phone was excellent. They got someone out to the house at my moms place to do a spot repair and right above where the leak was. There was a huge rock. These guys were able to pull it out of the way with the truck and somehow get it back in place looking good. I would highly recommend these guys are just give them 10 stars if I could

The technician was professional and courteous. He discussed with me the different possibilities to solve our issue and tried to help with getting an estimate for installing a propane tank (which involves a different company).

Update: The technician helped me get a price match for a lower price that was offered by a different company, great customer service!

They were very professional! Need my outside hose spigot replaced because they would leak. All they did was tighten them to stop the leaks. They also check my water pressure since I had a question about it. They didn’t even charge me for the quick work. They gave me an great estimate for the repairs I will need in the future! I’ll use them for sure!

What are the top 5 plumbing issues?

  1. Clogged Drains: A prevalent issue in both residential and commercial properties in Tacoma, WA, and the surrounding areas. If left unattended, clogged drains can lead to costly repairs. Using professional drain cleaning services can help prevent such situations.
  2. Leaky Faucets or Pipes: This common plumbing problem can significantly increase your water bill over time. An experienced plumber can quickly identify the source of the leak and carry out necessary repairs.
  3. Water Heater Issues: Problems with the water heater, such as no hot water, strange noises, or leaks, require immediate attention. Whether you need water heater repair or water heater installation, Atlas Home Services has got you covered.
  4. Low Water Pressure: This can indicate a blockage or leak in your plumbing system. Our skilled plumbers can diagnose the problem and restore your water pressure.
  5. Running Toilets: A continuously running toilet can waste a considerable amount of water. If you're facing this issue, seek immediate plumbing service from professionals like Atlas Home Services.

What questions should I ask a plumber?

  1. Are you licensed and insured? Any professional plumber or plumbing company should have these credentials to ensure quality work and protection against possible damages.
  2. Do you provide a detailed estimate? It's crucial to understand the costs associated with the plumbing service or repair beforehand to avoid any surprises.
  3. Do you offer emergency plumbing services? Plumbing problems can happen anytime, and having a plumber who can respond promptly is vital.
  4. Can you provide references? A reputable plumbing company should be able to offer references that attest to the quality of their work.
  5. What's the plan for cleanup? The best plumbers, like Atlas Home Services, leave your property clean and tidy after finishing their work.

What are the 3 basic components of every plumbing system?

  1. Water Supply System: This component brings fresh water into the building. It includes water service lines, fixtures, and valves.
  2. Drainage System: This system removes waste water and sewage from your property. It comprises drain pipes, sewer lines, and vent pipes.
  3. Fixtures and Appliances: These include sinks, showers, toilets, water heaters, and other appliances that utilize the plumbing system. Maintaining these fixtures can prevent future plumbing issues and costly repairs.

What type of plumbing lasts the longest?

Copper piping is often considered the gold standard in plumbing and can last up to 50 years or more. It's resistant to corrosion, able to withstand high temperatures, and ensures a smooth water flow. However, the longevity of any plumbing system also significantly depends on regular maintenance and prompt plumbing repairs.

What is the most common type of plumbing?

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) are the most common types of plumbing for residential properties. PVC is typically used for drain, waste, and vent pipes, while CPVC is used for water supply lines due to its ability to withstand hot water. For professional plumbing installations and maintenance of these systems, consider reaching out to a reputable plumbing company like Atlas Home Services.
